newspaper about WAA, please save it and bring it to
the next General Meeting.
Critique for September
Colleen Erickson will conduct the critique for
September. Be sure and bring your art for discussion.
This is always a very enlightening session!
Welcome New Members…
Crystal Russell of Weatherford.
August Demonstration
Beth Pritchard gave us a fabulous demonstration in
pastels. Her art is truly inspiring. She takes great pain
to achieve a very realistic piece. Most of her pieces are
flowers that seem to bloom right before your eyes.
She uses Kitty Wallace paper, which has a sandpaper-like
quality. Once the pastel has been applied, she uses a brush
to retrieve the “tooth.” Beth frames all of her work without
spraying the finished drawing.
